Posters at the Annual Meeting

Posters can convey a simple project, trace a longer-term trajectory in your work, or convey a broader discussion.  A poster’s aim should be to introduce you and at least some of your current interests to those who view it in our poster gallery at the annual meeting and thereby facilitate networking within the society around those subject areas.

If accepted, your poster will be listed in the program and you will be expected to stand with your poster for the scheduled Poster Session.

Eligibility

Any full or student member or even small group of members of the SCE, who is not presenting in a plenary or concurrent session, may submit a proposal for a poster. Students need not have passed their comprehensive exams. The "every other year" rule does NOT apply to poster sessions.

Poster proposals should be submitted on the online poster proposal form.

Poster Preparation

Please follow the below requirements when preparing your poster:

  • Posters should be no larger than 36" x 24" (3' x 2').
  • Minimum font size of 12
